The Book of Clarence (Jan. 12)
American Upcoming movies 2024: The Harder They Fall, by James Samuel is a dark comedy with a decidedly irreverent sense of humor based on biblical inspiration. Clarence (LaKeith Stanfield) finds it difficult to follow the path of righteousness, but he is motivated to do so after witnessing the recognition and honors that come to Jesus as a result of his good deeds. Looking to take advantage of Jesus’ celebrity, Clarence starts pretending to perform miracles. This is a successful side gig that goes well until the Roman Empire calls.
Bob Marley: One Love (Feb. 14)
Kingsley Ben-Adir plays the legendary reggae musician in this new biopic about the life and legacy of Jamaican singer-songwriter Bob Marley. Produced in collaboration with the Marley family, the film follows his ascent to stardom, including an attempted home invasion in 1976, his long-standing support of peace, and his prolific musical career, all leading up to his tragic death in 1981.
Drive-Away Dolls (Feb. 23)
Beyond his work with the Coen Brothers, Ethan Coen will direct his first feature film alone, Drive-Away Dolls, a queer road trip buddy comedy he co-wrote with his partner and longtime collaborator Tricia Cooke. In the movie, Geraldine Viswanathan and Margaret Qualley play roommates and friends whose impromptu road trip to Tallahassee is jeopardized by a group of petty thieves.
Dune: Part Two (March 1)
For the second episode of Denis Villeneuve’s adaptation of the beloved science fiction tale, TimothΓ©e Chalamet makes a triumphant comeback as the intrepid hero Paul Atriedes. In this new chapter, Paul teams up with the Fremen, his romantic interest Chani (Zendaya), and his family in an effort to exact revenge on his family and restore harmony to the planet Arrakis.
Mean Girls: The Musical (Jan. 12)
The 2018 hit Broadway musical Mean Girls, which is based on Tina Fey’s 2004 cult classic film, will make a big screen comeback. Angourie Rice will play new girl Cady Heron, and RenΓ© Rapp will reprise her Broadway role as Queen Bee Regina George. Tim Meadows, a fellow SNL alum, and Fey will play math teachers, Ms. Norbury and Principal Duvall, respectively, in the film adaptation.

Lisa Frankenstein (Feb. 9)
In this horror comedy written by Juno’s Diablo Cody, a dark romance develops between a misunderstood teenage goth named Lisa (Kathryn Newton) and The Creature, a handsome Victorian corpse that she reanimates (Cole Sprouse). As they search for missing body parts for The Creature, the couple’s romantic aspirations spiral out of control and become a ferocious murderous rampage.
Madame Web (Feb. 14)
American Upcoming movies 2024 : As Cassandra Webb, the paramedic heroine in Madame Web who struggles with her clairvoyant abilities, Dakota Johnson makes her comic book debut. In the midst of addressing her troubled past and developing psychic powers, Cassie takes on the duty of making sure three young girlsβwho will play a significant role in the futureβsurvive a deadly foe.
Mickey 17 (March 29)
Robert Pattinson plays Mickey 17, the title character in Bong Joon-ho’s eagerly awaited film adaptation of Edward Ashton’s science fiction thriller. Mickey 17 is an “expendable” space traveler who is sent on a perilous mission to colonize Niflheim. A cycle that resembles immortality starts when Mickey dies and his body is cloned while retaining the majority of his memories.
